i guess i already failed at my promise of blog maintenance.. =( not to worry tho.. i am keeping my Twitter page up-to-date!
for "quite" a long post, i can't use my Twitter account of course.. nor can i use my Facebook notepad for it.. it can make my account messy =D
i have been doing a review of my year when a new one starts since.. ... i don't remember.. maybe it's safe to say: "since i learned how to blog".. right? hahah.. lemme start "actually" sharing about my 2009 NOW
well.. i can summarize my 2009 in a phrase.. "Acads crashing" .. yes, it crashed hard last year.. i got my first academic 0.0 grade from Basic Electronics.. then in the next term, i got another academic 0.0 from Feedback Control Systems.. DAMN.. i blame a lot of things.. the teacher, the circumstances and myself.. definitely, my self is the BIGGEST failing factor.. (at least i am honest about it)..
soo..
Why the teacher?
- not only to mention that he sucks.. i think he also hates me! i dunno.. the second time i got around with the subject, he deducted big points from test numbers with very minor mistakes..
Why the circumstances?
- i had to travel 2 hours to school and 2 hours back every school day which was five to six times a week.. well, four.. i had cheerdance practices that's why =D i only had 4 hours of sleep everyday during the term.. it killed my priorities, really..
Why the self?
- obviously, i didn't care much about the subjects i failed.. but i didn't want to fail at them either.. i don't know how i would explain my case the best way.. though maybe i can say that i didn't try to understand those fucking feedback systems and the others.. they never piqued my interest.. nor did the prof =p
enough with the acads.. i get frustrated everytime i dig upon the topic.. hmm.. i'll talk about other highlights now =)
Facebook
- i actually created a Facebook account and maintained it the whole year! cool~
Twitter
- my spontaneous journal.. i post an update while at home, at the mall, at school (even while in classes!) .. well.. stalk me.. LOL =P
Pump Up the Animo
- an unnecessary priority, but REALLY FUN nonetheless.. this cheerdance competition gave me the opportunity to discover what i want to and what i can do.. yay COE!
LAmb 2k9
- i was part of the ALAC and made big contributions especially the LAmb manual and the CLA documentation.. i think those were great! =D i almost lost this organization just last term.. good thing i was able to do what i had to so that i can stay.. i guess i can stay till LAmb 2k11 now =) 2k12 is just excessive.. LOL i would have been too old for that already =D
Dragon Age Origins
- this is the reason why i had a lot of allergy attack last term.. i deprived myself of sleep just to play (LOL) and the result.. a body vulnerable to allergy attacks =D
Monster Hunter
- if DA was the problem for allergies, this was the problem for class cuts.. i used to cut classes just to play co-op with my friends.. LOL..
Acer 4736z
- i was given my most expensive gift yet.. a brand new Acer 4736z laptop.. it was given to me during the Ondoy week.. seemed like a bad timing
hmm.. i can spend all the time typing about my 2009.. but i think it would take A LOT of time and effort.. so maybe i'll stop here.. i'm not sure if i can post a follow-up though :)
Happy new year everyone! May you have a blessed 2010!

i expected that this day would just be another thursday of my life.. with a little twist - ECES general assembly.. but this day turned out to be something bigger.. i woke up this morning earlier than usual at around 7:30 AM.. i reached for my phone and found out that one of my co-LAmbs was looking for a substitute in giving a campus tour to LSGH students.. because the time was just on time with my free period, i decided to give it a go since i haven't given a campus tour in months! i also realized that it had been more than a year since i last toured LSGH students.. time really was fast =) so i got up from my bed and quickly took a bath and fix myself for the tour..
as a tradition, Hip2bHere participants were sent to different classrooms to sit-in so that they would have a feel of college life.. fortunately, the professor of the class wherein my set was supposed to join was really cool! if i remember correctly, he was my facilitator during my DLSU entrance exam =) after the class, we immediately proceeded to the campus tour.. since there were 3 LAmbs in my group with 12 LSGH students, it wasn't really hard to conduct the tour.. three heads are indeed much better than one! after the tour, all of us were treated to lunch by the school.. the LAmbs who participated also received one Hip2bHere t-shirt each with a shouting ANIMO LA SALLE print at its back.. cool~! last year, we only received a unique DLSU pin which you cannot find anywhere else but the MCO i believe.. what would the next year's incentive be, i wonder? kidding~ =)
one memorable thing the LAmbs surely remembered from the tour was the question: How many times did the man jump over the wall? Haha.. i think it's better if we do it in person rather than doing it over technology.. there's a way though, but it would be much cooler if we do it in flesh.. haha~
because i was in a very LAmb mood, i did not attend my ELCIRAN class.. no, i was not being overconfident.. i was just giving myself justice by not going to class rather than being there but not being intellectually present.. actually when i attended my SWIDLEC class, i was not able to remember a single thing sir discussed.. i wasn't interested in listening.. haha..
LAmb has a bad influence on me after all.. but don't worry.. i know i can catch up =D i don't care how little my ELCIRAN plus points would be.. i will just prove that i can pass the subject with my abilities and that i won't have to rely on other things to save me all the time =)

Here goes my very first serious post for this new blog.. What a tragic title for my first entry :(
Unfortunately, I can't think of a better topic to talk about right now but my medical condition. It's nothing serious though. However, this condition has bothered me for two straight weeks already. What is allergic rhinitis, anyway? ... ... ... To be honest, I don't really know :) But I do know that under this condition, one suffers rapid mucus production from the sinus. Because of this, the patient experiences frequent sneezing, runny nose, watery red eyes, itchy throat and ears. Well, I am currently experiencing all of the above.. Haha.. Too bad~
How about treatment? I have been reading articles from the internet, and I realized there is no existing treatment for the complete removal of allergic rhinitis which means treatments are only done to minimize the allergic attacks. The best way, they say, is by getting away from allergens. But if you do this to me, I will have nothing left around me! I feel like I am allergic to almost anything with odor - best example: perfume and baby powder :( There are other treatments preferred too. Like the immuno-shiz they are talking about in that website which I guess is VERY EXPENSIVE. Hmm.. What do I do for my case? Medication. I have been taking anti-histamines for months, but since I don't take them regularly, nothing is happening. Just this morning, I took the
Allerta medication. Damn.. It made me drowsy all day! And when I was having my haircut earlier, I noticed the darkness of the surroundings of my eyes - proof that I fought sleep all-day-long. I'll try Allerta one more time tomorrow and see if it works this way.. again..
Hmm.. Like what I said in my latest tweet, I really want to get rid of this medical condition. XD I will have it checked up soon. I just hope that my mom will approve :D
